Now in its 16th year, this is the largest horticultural show in the North West attracting up to 18,000 people today.
This year the Knowsley Flower Show at Court Hey Park,home of the National Wildflower Centre, Broadgreen, will have the centenary of the First World War respectfully commemorated at the show with a red, white and blue colour theme.
As well as the giant floral marquee, which is always a blaze of colour and houses over 400 exhibits, there is a fantastic line-up of entertainment of themed events.
All the usual attractions and entertainments will be on offer during the day, to keep both children and adults happy.
Bands will play, music will resound and circus skills will be aplenty for all to enjoy.
As well as the beautiful plant displays, and arena shows, Geraud Produce Market will have an avenue along with the usual Farmers market stalls all with their delicious food and crafts.
A free bus shuttle service will operate to the Show in Knowsley, hoping to boost the crowds, so let’s hope the weather is kind for us all to have a brilliant time today!
