Bob Barker Reveals All At Rennies Friday 9th Nov 6pm-8pm

Yorkshire artist Bob Barker shot to fame over the last couple of years with his very nostalgic images he has been painting, featuring children and adults in scenes from a bygone age.

Born in Yorkshire in 1954, he lives in Bradford and first became interested in art after receiving an oil painting set one Christmas as a present from his mother.

After 20 years running his own buisness, Bob released himself in pursuit of his hobby…art. He became a full-time artist selling his paintings until at an Autumn Fair he was recognised and catapulted into fame.

A contempoary artist, Bob is one of the most sought after artists today.

On Friday 9th November Bob will be presenting his latest nostalgic collection of signed limited edition prints as well as giving a painting demonstration which will provide an insight into how he produces his fabulous pieces.

On the night we can talk to Bob and enjoy a very hospitable glass of wine and some nibbles at this very informal and enjoyable evening.

Last year Bob provided a brilliant commentary on his work and we are hoping he shows his new collection of works with a different more painterly finish, yet with the same feeling of nostalgia running through it.

Perhaps on the night you too can paint like Bob and get your inspiration from “everywhere you look”. Should be an interesting night after some Christmas shopping in town tomorrow night. I’m certainly hoping to get some painting tips from Bob.
